Amerikan Made Prints

TM

Amerikan Made Prints was started by the husband and wife team of Keith and Jenn Bowman. Keith creates all the designs, which are usually inspired by growing up in the 1970s and frequently falling down stairs as a child. Jenn is responsible for expertly mixing paint pallets for the posters and quality control. With the recent addition of illustrator extraordinaire, David Senior to the team, AMP is set turn out posters that rock harder than Gibraltar.

Make Posters. Sell Posters. Give Profits Away.

The Ink Initiative Project evolved from a love of screen printing and a desire to give something positive back to the community. Each year, Amerikan Made Prints will design and print one or two exclusive posters in which all the proceeds will be given to charity.

To ensure we continually support the most deserving groups, the Initiative will select a different nonprofit organization to receive their proceeds each year. These organizations could be local or global and will not be chosen based on religious or political agendas, but for the merit of their missions.

We hope that this project will inspire other creative-minded people to find ways they can use their talents for good and create their own initiative projects.

This year’s beneficiary:

The Ink Initiative has chosen Philabundance as this year’s donation recipient. Founded in 1984, Philabundance is the Philadelphia region’s largest hunger relief organization. Their mission is to end hunger and malnutrition in the Delaware Valley by acquiring food and helping distribute it to people in need. So far they have provided food for over 60 million meals and we think that’s amazing.

Here is a really nice infographic taken from their website that helps explain how they do what they do. We invite you to learn more about the great work they do.

Please note that we did not create this graphic(but we do really dig it)
